Classic Bricked Cajon

The A Tempo Percussion Classic cajons have the traditional Peruvian sound, they are mostly used to accompany Creole and Afro-Peruvian rhythms. These cajons do not have strings which allows them to have deep bass.

Made with Walnut, Mohena, Requia and Violeta woods from our Peruvian jungle, which are appreciated for their durability and good sound; This combination of 275 thin pieces joined with special glues to form a figure that represents our Peruvian culture.

The fine and defined detail in wood art delivers a great artistic work made by our Peruvian artisans.

The Cedar veneer Cajon lid is tightly fitted with screws allowing some flexibility at the top to achieve the various sounds.

Its glossy finish gives it an elegant appearance and soft to the touch, its various polyurethane applications protect the wood from moisture and wear.

Each Cajon has large, non-slip rubber feet that allow stability during use.
