Leonardo “Gigio” Parodi

Leonardo “Gigio” Parodi is one of the greatest Peruvian percussionists. Prolific cajone player, conguero, bongos player, general percussionist and arranger, Gigio Parodi is currently one of the percussionists of the great Peruvian singer Eva Ayllón.

Grammy nominations (American and Latin) with the album “Acuarela de Tambores”, by Alex Acuña.

Latin Grammy nomination with the album “Eva” by Eva Ayllón.

Grammy nominations (American and Latin) with the album “Jolgorio” by Conjunto Perú Negro.

Participation as a musician in obtaining 2 silver seagulls at the Viña del Mar Festival in the folkloric competition.

Participation as an arranger in the Viña del Mar festival with the Peruvian theme sung by Roxana Silva in the international competition.

Gigio Parodi has performed with international artists such as: Basilio (Panama), Joaquin Sabina (Spain), Olga Guillot (Cuba), Laura Leon (Mexico), Maria Martha Serra Lima (Argentina), Armando Manzanero (Mexico), Julio Sabala (imitator) among others.
